At Serious Beats, we are serious about celebrations, without taking ourselves too seriously, which we think is the perfect blend for most weddings. Even though planning a wedding can be stressful, our goal is to give you 100% peace of mind around your sound, audio, and music, from set up to take down, and to keep the vibe right throughout every element of the day. Whether your guests are tearing up at the ceremony, chatting over dinner, or cutting a rug on the dance floor, we want to make sure everyone is having a great night, and that you are able to be fully present to celebrate your love with your closest people.

Here’s what you can expect working with Serious Beats:

Step 1: Consult and Quote
Our process begins with an initial conversation where we can get a sense for exactly what you would need from your DJ in terms of equipment, timing, music and other services. At this point, we want to get a sense of who you are as a couple and what your priorities are for your celebration. The better we understand what you’re looking for, the better we can help make sure your wedding is a huge success!

Step 2: Book and Plan
Once you make it official with us with a 50% deposit, we’ll send you forms to fill out where you can think through specific music cues and details about your day. Many couples also choose to share streaming playlists with us, which is a great way to keep your music updated along the way! This is your party, so you can give us whatever directions or parameters you like around the music for your wedding. And we’re here for you - just a text or email away from talking through any choices you’re hoping to make with an experienced DJ.

Step 3: Double-check Details
As we get closer to the day, we’ll make sure you have a chance to go over all the details directly with the DJ ahead of time. Often we find there are some last minute changes to song choices or timeline, and we want to make sure that we’re on the same page when it comes to the day of.

Step 4: Time to Party!
Finally, on your wedding day you can expect us on-site at the venue at least an hour before your guests’ arrival - whether that’s for the ceremony or reception - so that we’re setting the vibe by the time people are gathering. Along with a full PA system, we include a wireless mic for your MC and speeches, and some dance floor lighting to help get the party going!
